Would you like to take part in a research study looking into an injection for the prevention of HIV infection? If so, why not join a research study at our Clinical Research Centre in Guildford? As you know AIDS continues to be one of the highest causes of death in many countries and it is important that we continue to research new treatments to prevent this disease.  The study requires you to visit our centre 18 times as an out-patient, over approximately 13 months.  The injection will be administered on 1 occasion and depending which you group you are allocated to, in either one arm or in both arms, followed by out-patient checks.  You will be carefully monitored throughout the study period by our experienced clinical staff and doctors.  To be eligible you should be:

Healthy Male
HIV negative
Aged between 18 – 45 (& not reached 46th birthday on day of injection )
Using male condoms throughout the study
Available over 12 month period
